I decided my icons were too plain and started to color them! But I'm a little worried they're coming out looking not so hot, so here I am to ask you - yes, you - what you think.

I was originally planning to shade them! And I did get on start on those. But then I realized this was a bad idea because I am ridiculously OCD and spent hours smudging three pixels until they looked exactly how I wanted them to and there is no way I could ever finish shading 100 icons. So this is what I ended up with.

Height: Not given, but in comparison to other characters looks like he's about 5'4" or something. Shorter than your average guy, anyway.
Weight: Again, not given. He's pretty tiny.
Medical Info: Nothing of note.
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Physical traits: DUDE LOOKS LIKE A LADY.

Which is to say, Norio looks extremely feminine! He has long hair, usually wears pretty feminine clothes (think capris, short shorts, and wide-necked t-shirts), wears earrings, and most characters stop to comment on how ~*beautiful*~ he is. In fact, he is initially mistaken for a girl by literally every person he meets in canon! Because of this, it would probably make sense for a lot of people in camp to think he's a girl when they first meet him, too. How fast people catch onto the fact that he isn't one varies – some notice immediately upon further inspection, some realize once he starts talking at length (he uses the masculine pronoun "boku"), and some don't find out until his shirt is off. Norio isn't actually transgender (at least not openly, but I'll essay on that later), but probably won't go out of his way to correct you if you mistake his gender. He figures most people will figure it out on their own after a few minutes at most...but it's not something he really feels like bringing up on his own, so if you mistake his gender he probably won't correct you unless he really needs to.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: No spoilers past volume 9, please. You can go ahead and tell him he's fictional in your world, though; that actually sounds like the kind of weirdness that would come up in a Mohiro Kitoh manga, so.

Abilities: On his own? None! Physically, he's pretty weak.

His killer Pokemon is another story! Norio controls a "shadow dragon" called Vagina Dentata, which:

Can fly.
Is equipped with some pretty heavy artillery. Specifically, it's shown using assault rifles and machine guns.
Is really, really strong.
Is nigh indestructible. You can KO it with enough firepower, but it's nearly impossible to kill.

As a final note! Norio is mentally linked to Vagina Dentata, meaning he can control it at all times no matter where he is and see whatever it sees. However, this also can be a bad thing! Whatever damage it takes, Norio feels it, too. Meaning if you knock out his shadow dragon, he's down for the count as well.

Notes for the Psychics: Again, Norio is perpetually mind-linked with Vagina Dentata, meaning anything Vagina Dentata sees or feels, he does, too. His mind is essentially in two places at once. So if you try and read Norio's mind, you might get a little more than you bargained for.

If you can get past that? He's a bundle of issues. Check out my gender identity essay once I get it done, and Tsurumaru is always in the forefront of his thoughts.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure.

Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: Go for it, but Norio most likely will not appreciate your advances. Especially if you're a girl.

Maim/Murder/Death: Whatever you want to do can't be worse than what canon already did? Still, ping me for maiming and I'm going to say no on death for now, simply because of what happens to dragon users after they die (though I could probably fudge that if I have to.)

Cooking: HAHAHAHAHAHA. No, not at all. The very most he can manage is instant meals.

Character: Koga Norio
Series: Narutaru
Character Age: 14
Canon: Teenagers all across the world come home to find small Pokemon-like critters they can call their very own. Sounds cute, right? Now imagine these cute little critters are actually weapons of mass destruction, and all of the teenagers who can control them via mind-link are deeply disturbed, each with their own handful of psychological issues. That's basically what Narutaru is about.

Norio is one of these troubled teens who have bonded with a "shadow dragon," his going by the name of "Vagina Dentata." While probably one of the more stable characters from his canon, Norio is far from being what you'd call a "people person," with a sharp tounge and an attitude that makes him come off to strangers as aloof and rude. Despite his grouchy attitude, those close to him know that deep down he's a decent guy and an extremely loyal friend; he just also happens to be a little bit snarky, easily irritated, and prone to sulking on the side.

In his free time, Norio is often seen sculpting. He is actually a rather accomplished artist, and through his work and several gallery shows has obtained quite the following.

Which is why after putting that invitation to your so-called "summer art program" in its rightful place in my trash bin – because, really, why should I have to go all the way to America to mingle with a bunch of vapid amateurs beneath my notice? Not to mention it happens to be the middle of winter, in case you haven't noticed – I was...surprised to wake up the next morning in some backwater zombie camp in Louisiana regardless. Being proactive in providing transportation for your potential campers is one thing, but I'd say abducting them without permission is a little bit overeager, wouldn't you? Not to mention probably a tad bit illegal, though I can't claim to know much about the regulations you Americans have on how you run your summer camps.

Well, since you've insisted on dragging me all the way out here, why don't I break down for you exactly why someone might be opposed to coming to your shoddy eyesore of a camp of their own free will, hmm? Radioactive lake and rotting zombies aside, it really doesn't say much for your so-called "prestigious" art program when you have little to no materials to work with. No, providing me with only Play-Doh and glitter is not "pushing me to the limits of my artistic creativity." It's just cheap. Oh, yes, I'm aware this probably isn't a problem you've run into before, seeing as most of your..."campers" have been able to supply materials of their own. Building "popsicle stick" houses out of spare fingers? Impressive, really. Lanyards made from intestines? Disgusting, but points for creativity. However, I'm afraid not all of us are so willing to detach a limb or two for the sake of a few arts and crafts, and you'd do well to remember that.

Hmph. I'd say "call me when you've improved your standards a bit," but I'd prefer you don't contact me at all. My "ride" will be here to pick me up shortly; just let me leave without making a fuss about it, and I'll go ahead and pretend this whole ordeal never happened...if you catch my drift.
